RAFT Annual Scientific Meeting

The RAFT ASM is back - and with a difference! Each year we will be collaborating with a different Resident Research Network to bring the ASM to a new region in the UK. This year, with the upcoming RAFT 5 project, SECURE, we are holding the ASM in Bristol in collaboration with STAR Group. ​

  • Dr Jan Hansel - Finding consensus in airway management research: challenges and opportunities for outcome measures

  • Dr Joseph Alderman - To tackle biases in medical AI, start with the data

• Workshops on resident opportunities in research and audit, including;

  • Running a national service evaluation

  • Leadership in research

  • How to meaningfully incorporate PPIE into your projects

• Update on the upcoming SECURE - RAFT 5 project and how to get involved

Present your research, QI or audit at a National Conference! Submit your 500 word poster abstract to committee@raftuk.org. All entries will be displayed as an ePoster during the conference and the top 3 submissions will be selected for an oral presentation. Winners will receive a prize. Deadline Monday 2nd February 2026.
